We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to join our retail travel team who will specialise in supporting group cruise bookings, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for customers from enquiry through to departure. Join us and be part of a team that's dedicated to creating unforgettable travel experiences and making a real impact on our valued customers.As the Customer Service Assistant you will act as a key point of contact for group members, helping them understand booking processes, managing expectations, and highlighting the added benefits of travelling as part of a group. Alongside customer interaction, the role involves a strong administrative focus, requiring accuracy and attention to detail when managing bookings and finances.We are looking for candidates with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, who are confident managing administrative tasks and handling financial information accurately. A genuine passion for travel, particularly cruises and group experiences will help you thrive in this role. While previous experience in the travel industry would be an advantage, it’s not essential. We also welcome applications from individuals with a solid background in administration or those who can demonstrate excellent customer service experience.Located at our Ponders Travel branch (25 High Street, Over, Cambridgeshire, CB24 5NB) this position is Full-Time, working 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm) We would also consider Part-Time 28 hours per week (4 Days) or 21 hours per week (3 Days)Fred.
