Salary: £16,885 - £19,236 (FTE £28,142 - £32,061) per annum,
Grade 3
Hours: Part Time - 22.2 hours per week
Location – Learning and Development Centre, Whitley Wood, Reading

About you:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual for the position of Learning and Development Support. Working with the Learning and Development team, you will support the delivery and maintenance of operational qualifications across our organisation. You will be supporting the improvements of our operational training provision and the day-to-day support of our operational training team.
Specifically, we are seeking an individual who has previous administration experience, is computer literate in Word, Excel and Outlook and with a general understanding of the training and development environments. You will be someone who is adaptable and willing to learn about the training function and how this supports the effectiveness of our operational response.
The key focus of this role (Key Responsibilities and Deliverables) is:
Provide effective administration and support to the Learning and Development team and Driver Training team.
Populate and maintain Operational Training Planner and training recording programmes.
Be responsible for co-ordination and issue of joining instructions to ensure that training delivery is maintained.
To act as a first point of contact for the service, providing general administrative functions as and when required, in support of training managers and instructors.
Key role requirements (knowledge, skills and experience):
Computer literate (word, excel, outlook, able to produce letters and send emails.
Understanding of training & development environment.
General understanding of database work and the importance of accurate data.
Organisational skills – able to plan i.e. booking of training venues, organising training instructors.
