We have an exciting opportunity for a Rugby Programmes Manager to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at the Brooksby College and Loughborough College.
Loughborough College Elite Sport is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners. The department offers a wide range of provision up to L3 qualifications, working nationally with a broad range of funded programmes that includes: study programmes, apprenticeships, international, adult programmes and the Diploma in Sporting Excellence.
Working across the Loughborough and Brooksby sites, the Rugby Programmes Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the College’s rugby programmes. This includes men’s and women’s programmes, across a range of levels, working with a range of cross-college departments, such as curriculum teams, accommodation services and student welfare services.
Responsibilities of this role include;
Working with partners and clubs to design, develop and deliver rugby programmes, ensuring a high-quality dual-career experience, both on and off the field.
Leading on recruitment strategies, player pathways and progression routes, as well as developing an effective quality assurance programme.
What we are looking for;
Significant rugby coaching/leadership experience, and experience of working in dual career/talent pathways.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
The ability to work effectively in a large cross-curricular team and be able to work to deadlines.
An up to date/valid driver’s licence is essential, access to a vehicle is desirable as the role will involve offsite working.
