About the job
We are looking to recruit a Health Link Worker who will be based at our Cornerstone Day Centre, a community centre for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The Health Link worker will facilitate the Homeless Health Hub, you will speak to people who come into Cornerstone about our health offer, encouraging them to take it up. Your role will be to organise and run health promotion and wellbeing activities which may include gardening, health walks or creative activities. Supporting and motivating people who use the service to see the onsite health professionals or access mainstream health services.

You will have excellent customer service and IT skills, with the ability to motivate and support people to make positive health choices and lifestyle changes. Experience of promoting health care and well being and working with people who are homeless or people with substance or mental health problems in a community setting is essential.

The hours of the role are 37.5 per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. This is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2029.
