We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Van Technician to join a leading fleet maintenance team at a state-of-the-art Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU).

This Van Technician position offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time, evening, or night shifts, to suit your personal needs. Our client, a dynamic organisation with ambitious growth plans, is seeking an experienced Van Technician committed to delivering exceptional vehicle care and maintenance.

Duties as a Van Technician:

- Perform servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vans and light commercial vehicles
- Conduct both minor and major repairs to vehicle mechanical, electrical, and engine systems
- Carry out vehicle health checks and road tests
- Utilise diagnostic equipment for fault identification and troubleshooting
- Assist with wiring, camera systems, and electrical repairs as required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to team members and clients

Requirements:

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Proven experience working as a Van Technician or in light vehicle servicing
- Strong technical knowledge across vehicle systems, including wiring and electrical components
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent diagnostic skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
