About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable SEND Teacher to work across a range of schools in Cambridge. This role is offered through a reputable education recruitment agency and provides an excellent opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in both mainstream and specialist settings.
You will play a key role in delivering personalised learning and helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
•
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
•
Support pupils with a variety of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties
•
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
•
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
•
Track, monitor, and report on student progress
•
Contribute to and implement EHCPs and individual learning plans
Requirements
•
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
•
Experience working with SEND pupils in a school or alternative provision
•
Strong behaviour management and adaptability
•
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
