Job Title: Fire Damper Engineers (x4)
Location: Guernsey Island
We are looking for 4 experienced Fire Damper Engineers to join an 8-week project in Guernsey. This is a rotational assignment with flights, accommodation and daily food allowance fully covered by the client.
Pay£380 per day
Project Details- Travel date: 10 May
- Project start: 11 May
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Rotation: 10 days on / 10 days off throughout the project
- Working days during rotation: Monday – Sunday
- Working hours: 08:30 – 16:30 (8 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities- Carry out inspection, testing and maintenance of fire dampers in accordance with fire safety regulations and industry standards
- Complete drop testing and functionality checks of fire dampers
- Identify faults, defects and non-compliance issues and carry out remedial works where required
- Accurately record findings and produce compliance reports and certification
- Work closely with site teams and follow all health & safety procedures
- Ensure all work meets BS 9999 / BS 9991 and relevant fire safety legislation
- Maintain tools, equipment and materials in safe working condition
- Communicate progress and issues clearly to supervisors and project managers
Requirements- Proven experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
- Relevant fire safety certifications and competency
- Ability to work rotational shifts away from home
- If not a UK national, must hold Settled or Pre-Settled Status
