This may be your first employment within the NHS or you may already be working in a healthcare environment but feel ready for a change! We have experienced colleagues in our Specialist Surgery Admin Teams so you will be fully supported in your role.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is thorough in accomplishing a task, no matter how small. If this is you, we are keen to hear from you.

We are looking for two Administration Assistant to join our established Acute & Specialist Surgery Admin Teams. You will provide day to day administrative support to our Medical Secretaries, Support Secretary and Clinicians.

You will need to be a self-motivated individual with proven administration skills.

Your experience in an acute/medical setting would be an advantage but certainly not essential.

You will possess excellent communication skills and be open and accessible to provide the required support for queries, advice and support.

You will join a welcoming and motivated Team, all of whom do their very best to ensure an effective administrative service is provided to support our patients.

Once you have completed your training, and feel confident in your new role, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of agile working on day per week if you so wish (subject to Service needs).

Great office and IT skills will be essential in managing your workload to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

You will also demonstrate excellent organisational skills, be flexible in your approach, exercise initiative, demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism and be aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.

The duties and responsibilities listed in the Job Description should be undertaken in accordance with the levels of competence as defined in the KSF outline for this post. In addition, all staff are expected to act in accordance with the values and behaviours of the Trust.
