IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for skilled Electrical Wiremen to join a well-established and growing engineering company in Sparkford. Known for designing and manufacturing specialist incubation systems for the global poultry industry, this business offers a stable and forward-thinking environment with excellent long-term prospects.
Key Duties- Carry out electrical panel wiring and assembly.
- Assemble cable looms and wiring systems.
- Install and wire electrical control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring schedules.
- Perform soldering and crimping tasks, including bootlace ferrules, insulated crimps, and lug crimps.
- Work to production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support general electrical and mechanical assembly tasks as required.
- Previous experience in panel building and wiring is preferred.
- Experience with cable loom assembly.
- Knowledge of crimping techniques and components.
- Good soldering skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Positive and proactive "can-do" attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to raise queries when needed.
- Dedicated and committed to continuous improvement.
- £14.50-£15.00 per hour depending on experience.
