More detail about the role North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) currently provides a symptomatic breast service and is proud of its forward-thinking breast radiology team. We are committed to role extension, innovation, and continuous professional development. Our department has fully embraced the four-tier workforce model, comprising Mammography Associates, Mammographers, and Advanced Practitioners. Advanced roles include film reading, breast ultrasound, and interventional procedures. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer / Mammographer to join our small, friendly, and multidisciplinary breast team. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with a caring and compassionate approach, willing to take on responsibility when required. This role includes rotation through the general radiology department and participation in the out-of-hours service is essential Essential Requirements DCR or BSc (or equivalent) in Diagnostic Radiography Ability to work within a 24-hour service, including out-of-hours shifts UK-recognised postgraduate qualification in Mammography Department Overview Our fully digital radiology department includes: 6 X-ray rooms and 1 community hospital site Recently refurbished facilities with state-of-the-art GE equipment 2 fluoroscopy/interventional rooms Dental imaging and DEXA services Ultrasound and MRI 2 CT scanners 3 image intensifiers supporting a range of surgical procedures Working Pattern: Various including weekends Interview Date: To Be Confirmed For further information please contact: Julian Fuery, Principal Radiographer on julianfuery@nhs.net As an inclusive employer, the Royal Devon values diversity and is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where everyone can be themselves and reach their full potential.
