Are you an expert in infant care with a passion for the earliest stages of child development? We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Qualified Practitioner to join a beautiful nursery setting in Mill Hill Park (NW7). This role is based in our Baby Room, where you will provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest children.
Key Responsibilities
Infant Development: Provide high-quality care tailored to the specific needs of babies, focusing on sensory play and physical development.
Routine Management: Maintain and follow individual sleep and feeding routines for each child.
EYFS Implementation: Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities for under-2s, ensuring progress is tracked via the EYFS framework.
Safety & Hygiene: Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safeguarding in the baby room.
Parent Partnerships: Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, providing detailed daily feedback on their child’s wellbeing.
Requirements (Essential)
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or Early Years Educator).
Experience: Proven experience working specifically within a Baby Room or with children under 2 years old.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of infant milestones and Safeguarding protocols.
Availability: Must be able to work full-time (40 hours) on a rotating shift basis.
Location: Must be able to commute to NW7 4SE (Mill Hill Park area).
