About the RoleWe're currently recruiting an experienced Terberg Shunter Driver to join a busy transport operation based in Moreton. This is a part-time opportunity for someone confident in yard shunting and trailer movements.
Key Responsibilities- Yard shunting of trailers using a Terberg shunter unit
- Moving trailers safely and efficiently around the site
- Communicating with yard staff and following site procedures
- Ensuring all movements comply with safety standards
- Covering holidays for our client's permanent driver on a long-term basis (we can offer you other work around these shifts if you need full-time hours)
- Minimum 12 months Terberg shunting experience (essential)
- Regular UK driving licence (no HGV licence required)
- Reliable, safety‑aware, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced yard environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Day shifts - 06:00-16:00 - 12 hours pay guaranteed per shift
- £15.15 per hour (PAYE)
