Class 2 Tanker Driver - No Tanker Experience Required (PAYE)

An excellent opportunity for Class 2 drivers looking to move into tanker work. No previous tanker experience is required, as full training will be provided. The role supports customers within the events management and construction sectors, meaning no two days are the same.

This position is well suited to drivers from curtainsider, tipper, or box work backgrounds who want to try operating a different type of vehicle.. Employment is PAYE with holiday pay accrued separately.

Interviews taking place w/c 27th April

Start date: 5th May

Pay Rates (PAYE)

  • £15.00 per hour PAYE
  • £18.00 per hour PAYE after 8.5 hours per day
  • Saturday: £18.00 per hour PAYE
  • Sunday: £20.00 per hour PAYE

Holiday Pay (PAYE)

  • Holiday pay accrued in a separate holiday pot
  • Paid time off taken when it suits you
  • No rolled-up holiday pay

Working Hours

  • Monday- Friday: 7:00am- 4:00pm as standard but flexibility is required as overtime is regularly available on week days
  • Occasional weekend overtime available through the summer

The Role

  • Driving and operating a Class 2 vacuum tanker
  • Servicing event sites and construction locations
  • Daily workload varies between single and multiple stops
  • Completing vehicle checks and paperwork
  • Providing professional customer service
  • Occasional need to drive the flat bed vehicle which requires loading/ unloading via a tail lift

Full training is provided on tanker operation and equipment.
