Crynodeb
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Little Angels.
Monday - Friday 9.30am - 4pm 51 weeks a year
Your day to day will be:
• Prepare the trays with the plates, bowls and serving utensils
• Temperature probing the food on arrival and serving it up into relevant serving dishes for each room, making sure alternative meals are on the trays with allergy slips filled out and handed to staff.
• Deliver the food to the rooms on the trolley and give staff the trays.
• Prepare a simple tea.
• Help with the laundry.
• Load the dishwasher with dirty dishes and wash up and tidy down the kitchen.
• Prepare trays for breakfast in the morning.
• Fill in relation paperwork for safer food better business and shopping lists.
• Ensure the kitchen equipment is kept clean and tidy to a high standard
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and personal appearance in accordance with the company’s hygiene policy.
Experience is not essential as training will be given.
Our nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This position is subject to receiving 2 satisfactory reference, completion of a 6 month probationary period and relevant DBS checks and signing up to the update service yearly.
