Job Description:
DC Personnel are working on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Leicestershire (LE7) and are currently recruiting for experienced Fabrication Supervisors (AM & PM shifts).
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,000 – £38,000 (Depending on experience and shift)
Working Hours:
AM Shift:
Mon – Fri 6:00am – 2:00pm
PM Shift:
Mon – Weds 2:00pm – Midnight
Thurs – 2:00pm – 11:30pm
Friday – Off
The Role:
We are looking for experienced Fabrication Supervisors to oversee a busy sheet metal fabrication department. You will be responsible for supervising production, ensuring quality and efficiency targets are met, and supporting the onboarding and development of new staff.
Key Duties:
Supervising day-to-day fabrication operations
Overseeing work across press, laser, and welding departments
Inducting and training new staff members
Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved
Monitoring quality standards and addressing any issues
Supporting and motivating team members on the shop floor
Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
Liaising with management regarding performance and improvements
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a fabrication or supervisory role
MUST have hands-on experience with press, laser, and welding processes
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
Previous experience training or inducting staff
Good leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
