Position Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join a well-established, family-owned 3-star hotel in Blairgowrie.
The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes. Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Kitchen Operations
• Prepare and cook dishes within the assigned section to a high standard
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
• Assist with preparation of ingredients before service
• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
• Contribute ideas for menu development, focusing on fresh food
Teamwork & Section Support
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient service
• Support and guide junior kitchen team members
• Maintain a well-organised and prepared section at all times
• Promote a positive team culture and collaborative environment
Standards, Hygiene & Compliance
• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation, and waste control
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Uphold the hotel’s quality and service standards
Skills, Experience & Competencies
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fine dining environment
• Passion for fresh food and delivering high-quality menus
• Strong knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Professional approach with a strong attention to detail
• Fluent in English
