Crynodeb
As a Band 6 Clinical Lead, you will be a senior member of the inpatient multi disciplinary team and take responsibility for overseeing clinical care delivery on the ward. You will provide leadership during shifts, supporting staff through complex clinical situations and ensuring that care is delivered safely, consistently and in line with evidence based practice. You will play a vital role in developing and empowering Band 5 nurses and other colleagues through supervision, appraisal, mentorship and on shift leadership. You will foster a supportive learning environment where staff feel valued, confident and able to deliver high quality care, while also receiving appropriate supervision and development yourself. The role includes close collaboration with a range of internal and external professionals to build therapeutic relationships that support recovery and continuity of care. You will contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, discharge planning, risk management and service improvement initiatives, maintaining a clear focus on patient safety, dignity and recovery outcomes. Working across a 24 hour shift pattern, you will balance direct clinical leadership with opportunities for clinical management activity, supporting the ward manager and wider leadership team.
