Our client operates a large factory employing over 700 people and continues to expand across the UK. We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team.
Your Role as a Production Operative:
As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in assembling essential components using power tools and detailed engineering drawings. You’ll also be involved in operating machinery as part of the production process. This is a physical, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in precision and quality.
Shift Pattern
Week 1: Monday to Thursday: 6:00AM to 14:00PM
Week 1: Friday: 06:00AM - 11:00AM
Week 2: Monday to Thursday 14:00PM to 22:00PM
Week 2 : Friday: 11:00AM - 16:00PM
37 hours per week
Early finish every Friday
What You’ll Be Doing
Carrying out basic production duties
Building and assembling agricultural vehicle components
Operating machinery safely and efficiently
Using a variety of power tools
Reading and working from detailed technical drawings
Performing basic quality checks
Working efficiently in a fast-moving production setting
Collaborating with your team while also being confident working independently
What We’re Looking For
Experience in production or manufacturing (preferred)
Confidence using power tools and machinery
Ability to read technical drawings
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting
Strong communication skills
Team player with a proactive attitude
Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
What You’ll Get
£13.76 per hour
Paid breaks (3 breaks per shift, totalling 1 hour)
