The Administration Assistant provides dedicated, high-quality administrative support to the Principal of Miss Daisy's Nursery Schools Group. Based in the front office at Miss Daisy's Hyde Park, the post holder will be the first point of contact for families, visitors, and professionals arriving at the setting, combining a warm and professional front-of-house presence with efficient behind-the-scenes support for the Principal’s compliance, documentation, and operational priorities.

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of a busy nursery group. The successful candidate will be highly organised, discreet, and comfortable managing sensitive information. They will take pride in ensuring that systems run smoothly, that documentation is accurate and timely, and that every parent and visitor receives an outstanding first impression of the setting.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role (minimum 2 years)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confident and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and modern office applications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Willingness to travel between Riverside settings in the Borough of Richmond as required
  • Knowledge of Ofsted and EYFS compliance requirements
  • First aid qualification or willingness to obtain


Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to all parents, visitors, and professionals arriving at Richmond Montessori.

• Manage the front office reception area, ensuring it is tidy, welcoming, and stocked with relevant information for families.

• Handle incoming telephone calls and emails, directing enquiries appropriately and taking accurate messages.

• Support parent enquiries relating to admissions, sessions, fees, and general nursery information, escalating to the Principal or Head Teacher as needed.

• Manage visitor signing-in procedures in line with safeguarding protocols, including checking identification and issuing visitor badges
