West Hampstead Primary School is seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role inraising outcomes for all pupils, with a particular focus on disadvantaged children. Senior Leadership experience required.
This is a key strategic position for a leader who combines a strong commitment toexcellence for every childwith a relentless focus onclosing attainment gaps. You will champion high-quality teaching, equitable curriculum access, and targeted support so that all pupils thrive, especially those facing disadvantage.

Role Overview:
• Lead the school’s pupil premium strategy, ensuring measurable impact on outcomes
• Drivehigh-quality teaching and learning for all pupils, with a sharp focus on disadvantaged learners
• Use data intelligently toidentify gaps and accelerate progress
• Promote a culture ofhigh expectations, inclusion, and achievement for every child
• Your work will align with the priorities of theOfsted framework, particularly in Quality of Education, Behaviour & Attitudes, and Leadership & Management.
• Behaviour Lead
• Upper Key Stage 2 Phase Leader (Y4-6).
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm for teaching and learning
• Organisational skills with attention to detail in monitoring pupil progress data
• Willingness to engage in professional development opportunities
