Crynodeb

We are seeking a versatile, highly skilled, and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is designed for a nursing professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses the clinical flexibility to provide exceptional patient care across various high-acuity settings, including Medical-Surgical wards, ICU/ITU, and Accident & Emergency (A&E).

The ideal candidate will be a "clinical chameleon," capable of transitioning from the structured recovery plans of a surgical ward to the high-pressure, life-saving interventions required in critical care or emergency medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Excellence: Deliver evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population, from managing post-operative recovery in Med-Surg to monitoring complex hemodynamics in the ICU.

  • Rapid Assessment: Perform primary and secondary surveys in A&E, utilizing strong triaging skills to prioritize care based on clinical urgency.

  • Critical Care Monitoring: Manage and monitor specialized equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, and infusion pumps (for ITU/ICU rotations).

  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and clear communication of treatment plans.

  • Emergency Response: Lead or assist in cardiac arrests and other medical emergencies with composure and technical proficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Requirement Description
Licensure Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license/NMC registration.
Clinical Versatility Proven experience in at least two of the following: Med-Surg, ICU, or A&E.
Certifications BLS and ILS/ALS (Advanced Life Support) preferred.
Technical Skills Proficient in IV therapy, wound care, ECG interpretation, and ventilation management.
Soft Skills Exceptional stress management, critical thinking, and "on-the-fly" problem-solving.
