Job Title: Despatch Operator
Location: Stourport
Pay Rate: £12.21 – £14.24 per hour
• Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Despatch Operator to join our team in Stourport. This role is vital in ensuring goods are accurately checked, packed, and dispatched efficiently to support production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities• Checking parts and preparing parcels for despatch
• Greeting drivers and ensuring all paperwork is checked and signed upon loading
• Prompt packing of conveyor modules from Assembly to maintain production flow
• Loading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing and distributing despatch documentation as required
• Following all Health & Safety policies
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Supporting other departments when required
• Operating equipment such as chop saws, nail guns, banding machines, and forklifts
Requirements
• Valid forklift licence
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Good communication skills, including English reading and writing
• Team player with experience in a factory or warehouse environment
