We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a professional and well-established operation based in Evesham, specialising in the distribution and collection of fresh produce across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and flexible drivers seeking ongoing, well-paid work with a reputable PAYE-only employer – Millison Chase Limited, which operates strictly direct employment and does not use umbrella companies.
Role Overview
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of fresh produce.
Duties may include:
Nationwide trunking operations
One-drop and one-collection assignments
Double-manned long-distance routes
Occasional multi-drop or dedicated customer runs
Ensuring all goods are transported in line with food safety and compliance standards
This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable with a fast-paced logistics environment and take pride in delivering high-quality service.
Shift Patterns & Working Hours
We offer flexible shift patterns to suit different driver lifestyles, including:
Day shifts
Night shifts
Weekend work opportunities
Shift lengths can be long but fully compliant with tachograph regulations, typically ranging between 10 to 13 hours per shift depending on route requirements and legal driving limits.
Pay Rates & Earnings
Competitive PAYE pay structure direct employment only:
Days (Monday–Friday): £16 per hour
Nights (Monday–Friday): £17 per hour
Weekends: £19 – £20 per hour
Estimated take-home pay: £850 – £1,000+ per week, depending on shifts and hours worked pay is equivalent to between £17.93 and £22.41 when holiday is rolled up
