Are you driven by a passion to support young people and help them succeed? Do you want a role where every day truly matters? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to join inclusive and supportive schools across Gateshead.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in empowering students with additional needs, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning support
- Help pupils develop both academically and socially
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Show patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students
- Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to student development
