Monmouthshire Housing Association is seeking a motivated and experienced Development Delivery Manager to support the delivery of our Development Programme as outlined in the Corporate Plan, Asset Management Strategy and Development Policy.
In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Development, deputising when needed, and ensuring the effective operational management of surveyors and project managers. You’ll help drive innovation, high‑quality delivery, and continuous improvement across our development and acquisitions service.
Key Responsibilities
Support and deputise for the Assistant Director of Development.
Oversee the development team to ensure effective delivery of new housing schemes.
Empower and support project managers, ensuring efficient and effective programme delivery.
Provide high‑quality reports, advice and information for senior leaders, committees and the Board.
Encourage innovation and creative approaches within the development service area.
Contribute to wider organisational responsibilities, including continuous improvement, tenant insight, safe working practices and tenant engagement.
About You

Essential:
Relevant degree (e.g., Surveying, Construction) or equivalent experience.
Technical experience in construction, development and procurement.
Strong programme and project management experience, including contract documentation and administration.
Knowledge of RSL funding and grant procurement requirements.
Experience developing and empowering teams.
Demonstrable experience of delivering change management and driving innovation.
Excellent communication, reporting and relationship‑management skills.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable:
Ability to communicate in Welsh (written and spoken).
