Crynodeb
We are actively looking for a class 1 driver to work from our Dewsbury site. The work is mainly curtain side deliveries to sites, industrial units and supermarkets. The role will involve nights away from base so you must be prepared to be away from 1- 4 nights away and the the very odd run back in on a Saturday morning. In return we offer a full time roll in our company where you are part of a team rather than a number on a payroll, top notch trucks with Fridges,Microwaves etc , we offer full uniform, meal allowance, PAID BREAKS , Pension for the right person. Duties
Operate a lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items on trailers.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Communicate effectively with managers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.
Requirements
Valid commercial driving licence (class 1)
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
Familiarity with all transport operations is preferred.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
