Permanent & Maternity Cover Positions Available

Do you believe the early years are where everything begins?

We’re looking for two warm, enthusiastic Early Years Educators to join our busy, friendly preschool, where children are nurtured, encouraged, and celebrated every single day. With one permanent role and one maternity cover position available due to expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a truly supportive team.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

We’re not just a preschool — we’re a team that cares deeply about children and each other.

✔ Flexible working patterns to suit your life
✔ Competitive rates of pay
✔ A welcoming, supportive team environment
✔ Ongoing training and professional development
✔ A setting where your ideas, creativity, and passion are valued

Your Role

As an Early Years Educator, you’ll play a vital role in helping children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. Your days will be varied, rewarding, and full of meaningful moments.

You’ll be:

  • Encouraging learning and development through play‑based activities
  • Creating a secure, stimulating environment where children thrive
  • Supporting children’s language, literacy, numeracy, and independence
  • Planning engaging activities tailored to individual needs
  • Observing, monitoring, and celebrating children’s progress
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Helping children prepare for the transition into a classroom setting
  • Ensuring the right balance between active learning and calm downtime
  • Following all policies, safeguarding procedures, and best practice

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who genuinely loves working with young children and wants to make a difference.

Essential:

  • A caring, positive, and proactive approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
  • Understanding of child development
  • Some experience in an Early Years setting

Desirable:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (NVQ, Diploma, NNEB or equivalent)
  • At least two years’ experience
(Unqualified applicants may be considered if willing to train and with relevant experience.)

Safeguarding

We are committed to keeping children safe. We follow robust safeguarding procedures, and all required background checks will be completed before employment begins.

Ready to Apply?

Interviews may be held before the closing date, so we encourage early applications.

If you’re passionate about early childhood education and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
