£110-£115 per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term temp-to-perm (Full Academic Year)
Long Term Futures is currently recruiting for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant who is eager to take the next step in their career within a SEND school environment.
If you are positive, approachable, and professional, with a strong understanding of SEND and a genuine desire to support children with additional needs, this role could be a great fit for you.
About the Role
Working in collaboration with class teachers, the SENCo, and other professionals, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Supporting pupils both within the classroom and in alternative settings
* Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging, well-planned lessons
* Establishing clear, tailored expectations for individual pupils
* Applying positive reinforcement strategies where appropriate
* Tracking progress and/or behaviour and sharing feedback with teachers and parents
* Supporting students outside of the classroom to help them regulate before returning
* Promoting resilience, self-regulation, and positive social development
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experienced in supporting pupils with SEND and passionate about making a difference
* Calm and confident, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
* Able to form positive relationships while maintaining firm and consistent boundaries
* Reliable and dedicated to a long-term role - consistency is vital for pupil development
* Resilient and adaptable within a SEND setting
