Maths Teacher | Long-Term & Temporary Opportunities | Horsham

Are you a passionate educator ready to make numbers count? Randstad Education is currently seeking dedicated and inspiring Maths Teachers to join our team for several high-priority placements across secondary schools in Horsham. The Role

We are looking for individuals who can bring Mathematics to life. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5), ensuring that every student has the support and challenge they need to succeed.

  • Location: Horsham and surrounding areas.

  • Start Date: Immediate and September starts available.

  • Contract Type: Long-term, permanent, and flexible temporary roles.

  • Pay: Competitive rates based on experience (Scale 1-6 / MPS / UPS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspiring Learning: Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that cater to a range of abilities.

  • Assessment & Progress: Use data and assessments to track student growth and provide "live" feedback to close learning gaps.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, "outstanding" learning environment where students feel safe and focused.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and Teaching Assistants to ensure every child reaches their potential.

  • Safeguarding: Act as a vigilant protector of student well-being, following all school policies and procedures.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs/NQTs are highly encouraged to apply!).

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

  • A proven track record of helping students achieve strong results.

  • An Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service is a massive plus).

  • A resilient, patient, and professional attitude.
