Newton Abbot | £13.50 per hour | 8am-5pm | Monday-Friday | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a hardworking and reliable FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join the team. This role involves a mix of forklift truck driving and manual warehouse duties, with a strong focus on physical handling tasks.

Key Duties:
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift truck (approximately 20% of the role).
  • Carry out manual handling duties (approximately 80% of the role).
  • Lift and move heavy bottles of oil.
  • Unpack deliveries and load and unload pallets.
  • Pack products efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
  • Valid and in-date FLT licence within 3 years of start date of licence (essential).
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting.
  • Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
  • Own transport and ability to travel to the workplace.
