About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and confident CQC Registered Manager to join us at the start of an exciting new venture. We are either applying for a new CQC registration or acquiring an existing domiciliary care business. In both cases, you will act as the Registered Manager, taking responsibility for compliance, service quality, and operational leadership, while helping to shape the service from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead the CQC registration process or transition into the role following acquisition, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. You will have responsibility for preparing for and participating in CQC inspections and interviews, maintaining all documentation and evidence for compliance. Upon acquisition of an existing domiciliary care business, you will step directly into the Registered Manager role, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of compliance. You will oversee service delivery, including care planning, risk management, safeguarding, and reporting, while leading and supporting staff. The role also involves building relationships with local authorities and clients, supporting business growth, and ensuring the service remains inspection-ready.
About You
You will have experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care or supported living, with proven experience preparing for and managing CQC applications, inspections, and interviews. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care is essential, along with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislation. Experience with service transitions is desirable.
About the Opportunity
The initial focus is on securing clients within South East England, with plans to expand further across the region and beyond. This is an opportunity to grow with the organisation and play a central role in its development.
Important Information
This is a zero-hours role with hours dependent on client growth. A retainer will be agreed during the CQC application phase, with a transition into the operational Registered Manager role once the service is established. This position is best suited to someone interested in building a service from the ground up rather than seeking an immediate full-time role.
About Us
Hale Staffing is a recruitment and training provider expanding into domiciliary care and supported living. Our approach is centred on delivering high-quality, person-centred care with authenticity, compassion, and strong values. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in building and growing a new care service.
Important Notice
Please only apply if you fully meet the essential criteria outlined above, including relevant experience within domiciliary care or supported living, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, and a strong understanding of CQC requirements. Applications that do not meet these requirements may not be considered.
