We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s close‑knit, family‑run workshop in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician who values quality workmanship, a supportive environment, and a genuine work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and recommendations
- Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organised
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Level 2 and time‑served applicants considered
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Confident using diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
