Responsibilities of Sous chef
• Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes across clubhouse dining, events, and functions
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
• Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
• Manage stock control and assist with ordering
About you
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
• A passion for fresh, seasonal food
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Food hygiene certification (Level 2 minimum)
• Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings for events
