An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly, high‑profile pharmacy team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This unique post covers both mental health and community care pharmacy services within CWP West Cheshire, offering exceptional variety and professional development.
You will work closely with our specialist pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services across both Neighbourhood Care and Seren Lodge Mother and Baby Unit, a specialist inpatient service for women experiencing mental health difficulties during pregnancy or up to a year after birth.

Undertaking clinical technical support to ward based services on Seren Lodge Mother and Baby Unit, neighbourhood care services which comprise of, community care teams, three GP practices and GP Out of hours services. Contribute to improvements in prescribing practice,
antimicrobial stewardship and controlled drug monitoring. Maintaining safe, efficient stock control and minimise waste across the inpatient units and community settings. Investigate stock discrepancies and support cost-effective prescribing and usage trends.
Participate in medicines management audits across the inpatient unit, community and GP Out-of-Hour’s settings. Work with staff to develop service specific medicines policies including patient Group Directives and Written instructions.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
