We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to join our team and support the overall operations at our 4 bed residential home for young adults.

As a Deputy Manager you will have an integral role at our home supporting young adults, our staff and the management team.

We are looking for someone that is great at leading, communicating, is organised, pays attention to detail and has a passion for care and support.

Responsibilities:
> Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
> Support the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
> Work in line with CQC standards, legislation, and company policies
> Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and professionals to promote positive relationships and collaboration.
> Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
> Monitor young people's progress and wellbeing, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
> Maintain accurate records and documentation related to young people's care and development.
> Participate in staff training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
> Previous experience is essential
> Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
> Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes is highly desirable.
> A valid driving license is preferred to facilitate travel between locations if necessary.
> A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their growth.
> Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities when required.
> Be on-call when required, this responsibility is shared throughout the management team.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
> GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
> Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care - essential
> Experience in a senior/supervisory or deputy role within a regulated care setting
> Experience working within the CQC Fundamental Standards

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
> Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (achieved/or in progress)
> Specialist Training
> Experience in Digital Planning Software (Log my Care, Nourish etc)
> Safeguarding & Recruitment
