Crynodeb
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate assessors to deliver our high-quality early years training, including Apprenticeships, standalone qualifications and professional development programmes.
We are looking for experienced assessors with up-to-date knowledge of the National Occupational Standards in Child Care and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, who are keen to ensure our teaching programme remains of the highest quality and continues to produce excellent early years educators.

Main duties:
- Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering virtual classroom sessions, assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback. Travelling to complete workplace assessments, employer/learner 12-week reviews and supporting the endpoint assessment process for apprentice learners will also form part of this role. Other duties include:
- To deliver training that inspires and motivates learners to achieve their personal and career objectives and qualifications.
- To plan and teach effective learning for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment, including in virtual classrooms, face-to-face and in workplaces.
- To assess with fairness and integrity, ensuring that learners receive constructive and timely feedback so that they know and understand what they have achieved and what they must do to further improve.
- Maintaining own occupational CPD annually.
- Attending update meetings / standardisation / CPD as needed.
Essential criteria:
- Hold an accepted vocational assessor qualification, e.g. A1 or Level 3 Certificate in - Assessing Vocational Achievement.
- Hold a teaching qualification, e.g. Cert Ed, L3 AET, L4 CET, L5 DET.
- Be confident supporting learners to develop their English and maths skills, including functional skills.
- Have own transport and be willing to travel.
- Be confident in the use of ICT to promote and support teaching, learning and assessment.
- Be confident using Teams and Microsoft.
- Be able to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in the subject/vocational area, and aware of the needs and concerns of employers reasonable distances to undertake workplace assessment and monitoring visits.
- Be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
