Join Our Client as a Senior EPoS Engineer in Abingdon, Oxfordshire!
Are you passionate about technology and hardware support? Our client, a reputable company with over 35 years of experience in the EPoS industry, is looking for a dedicated Senior EPoS Engineer to join their friendly and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied role that combines technical support, hardware repairs, and customer service.
What you'll be doing:
* Fault finding and troubleshooting EPoS equipment and peripherals
* Providing first-line technical support via phone, email, and online systems
* Testing, configuring, and building EPoS hardware
* Diagnosing and resolving faults remotely and onsite
* Managing stock and assisting with warehouse distribution
* Carrying out onsite repairs and installations for customers
* Supporting and training staff and customers as needed
What you'll bring:
* Experience with EPoS hardware and peripherals
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office tools
* Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
* Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel for onsite support
* Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly
* Proactive, organised, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
* Leadership skills to manage small teams and provide onsite training
Additional details:
* Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (office-based)
* Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm / Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 5:00pm / Friday
* Full-time role with performance and yearly bonuses
