The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Technician to join our team in Milton Keynes. This role will primarily be site-based, with opportunities to undertake off-site work as required.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes and ensuring all work is completed in line with SCC processes and procedures. While the environment is not fast-paced, precision and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint components to a high standard
- Follow SCC processes and procedures at all times
- Take ownership of your work and meet agreed deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Carry out additional duties as directed
About You
- Experience in spray painting (apprenticeship desirable but not essential)
- Background in rail, aerospace, or automotive industries considered
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Reliable, proactive, and a team player
