What skills and experience we're looking for
The People Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing People Team at the heart of the Laidlaw Schools Trust, supporting our 11 academies and Shared Services with high-quality HR administration. As a key first point of contact, you will contribute to an efficient and customer-focused HR service by managing personnel records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, maintaining compliance, and assisting with core People processes across the Trust. This is a varied and rewarding position where you will work closely with the Senior People Partner and wider People Team, gaining valuable experience across the full employee lifecycle.
We are looking for a motivated and well-organised individual with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft Office tools.You will bring a proactive, solution-focused approach, demonstrate high levels of professionalism and confidentiality, and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service.If you are ambitious, adaptable, and ready to develop your HR career in a supportive environment, we would be delighted to receive your application.
