HGV Class 2 Driver (Free HIAB Training) – Temp-to-Perm
I'm looking for a Class 2 driver for a full-time, permanent role
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking to gain specialist crane skills and earn industry-leading overtime rates with a prestigious Leicestershire client?
Skills Needed
Licensing: Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence with valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
Compliance: Maximum of 6 points for minor offences (Strictly no DD, DR, IN, or TT endorsements for insurance).
Aptitude: A professional mindset and a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver who is ready to commit to a specialist career path.
Experience Needed
Driving History: Minimum of 2 years proven experience driving Category C vehicles is essential.
HIAB Experience: Not required!
We are looking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver who wants to be trained up in HIAB crane operations at no upfront cost.
Reliability: A solid work history that demonstrates your ability to stay with an employer and value professional investment.
Job Details & Shifts
Basic Pay: £15.00 per hour | Weekly Pay via GTR Recruitment.
Overtime (Over 50 Hours): £22.50 per hour (x1.5).
Saturday Rate: £22.50 per hour (x1.5).
Sunday Rate: £30.00 per hour (x2.0 - Double Time).
Contract: 12-week Temp-to-Perm transition to a permanent contract.
Training & Commitment: GTR will provide fully funded HIAB training. As this is a significant investment in your career, a standard Training Bond/Clawback agreement applies should you leave the role early or decline the permanent position.
