Housing Options Officer needed in Nottingham Paying £17.26 per hr ref OR26734
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Provide housing options advice and homelessness prevention support
- Assess applications under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended)
- Complete homelessness assessments and develop Personalised Housing Plans
- Explore and negotiate accommodation solutions, including private rented options
- Liaise with landlords and external partners to prevent homelessness
- Make and record lawful, well‑evidenced decisions in line with legislation and guidance
- Maintain accurate case records and issue statutory correspondence
- Manage a caseload of prevention and relief cases within agreed timescales
