Crynodeb
The postholder will work closely with the cancer services team to ensure that the pathway is co-ordinated efficiently and effectively, patient pathways are actively tracked to support the delivery of cancer performance targets particularly in relation to the new Cancer 28 day Faster diagnosis standard. A knowledge of cancer waiting times standards will be expected. The postholder will be expected to identify delays within the cancer pathway and work collaboratively to provide solutions for these. A significant level of liaison with different departments is required and the successful candidate needs to have highly developed diplomatic and influencing skills. Attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills are key components to the position.
