Associate Hydrogeologist
Location: Shrewsbury (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
Manpower Engineering is recruiting an Associate Hydrogeologist on behalf of a confidential, well-established environmental and water consultancy.
This senior role offers the opportunity to lead a hydrogeology and flood risk team, provide technical authority on complex projects, and contribute to business strategy and growth within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop hydrogeology and flood risk professionals
- Provide technical leadership and review of groundwater and flood risk projects
- Manage complex projects, budgets and programmes
- Oversee workload planning, resource management and financial performance
- Prepare and approve fee proposals and scopes of work
- Build strong relationships with clients, regulators and stakeholders
About You:
- Degree in Geology or related discipline (MSc in Hydrogeology desirable)
- Extensive experience in hydrogeology, groundwater or water resources
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
