Hours
- Full-time permanent position
- 1 in 6 full weekends at a 24-hour hospital setting
- Two weeks of on-call cover per year
- 1–2 Bank Holidays annually
- Balanced rota supporting clinical and leadership responsibilities
The Role
In this role, you will lead the nursing function while remaining actively involved in patient care. You will oversee day-to-day clinical standards, mentor and develop nurses, manage workflows and rotas, and help create a positive, high-performing team environment.
You will work closely with senior leadership to maintain exceptional patient care, strong operational standards, and an outstanding client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team
- Deliver high standards of patient care and monitoring
- Lead nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
- Support surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Manage admissions and discharges
- Oversee nurse rotas, workflow and team development
- Mentor and support student and junior nurses
- Ensure regulatory and clinical compliance standards are maintained
