About the role
Source Supply is currently recruiting a passionate and committed Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in central Chesterfield.
This role is based within the nursery provision, and applicants must hold a DfE-recognised early years qualification. Experience working within an EYFS setting is highly desirable. The position will also involve supporting children’s personal care needs, including nappy changing, as part of the daily routine.
We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who is keen to become an integral part of nursery life. The successful candidate will be confident supporting small groups of children, have a secure understanding of the EYFS framework, and be able to promote and extend learning through creative, engaging, and high-quality activities.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Hold a DFE recognised qualification in early years
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
