Our client a housing association are seeking an electrician to join their team on an initial 3 month contract in the Chester area.

What we offer:

• £20.14 per hour
• Monday - Friday - Some weekends maybe required.
• Hours - 0800-1630
• Weekly pay
• Holiday pay accrued

The role:

• Undertaking EICRs, remedial works at time of test and any follow on works (consumer unit changes)
• Carry out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
• Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the Group’s objectives.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience as an Electrician (Part P and 17th Edition preferred).
• Qualification or certification in Health and Safety e.g. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Health and Safety passport scheme.
• Current Certificate to BS2391 or equivalent standard in testing and inspection.
• Current Certificate of competency in PAT Testing.
• Full, current driving licence
