Opportunity: Domestic Assistant (Afternoons) – Kingfisher Court Residential Home

We are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant (Afternoons) to join our team at Kingfisher Court Residential Home, NG11.

Our Home
Kingfisher Court, based in Clifton, Nottingham, is a purpose-built residential home with a warm, homely feel. We provide care and support for older adults, including those living with dementia. Our home offers bright, spacious communal areas and gardens with lovely views over a lake, and is supported by a kind, dedicated team who take pride in the care they provide. Position Details:
Rate of pay: in line with national minimum wage
Hours: 20 hours per week – 5 shifts per week
Schedule: We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
Shift Times: 15:00-19:00
Location: Clifton, Nottingham, NG11. Please consider the travel times to the area prior to applying.

Responsibilities: As a Domestic Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Further responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Adhere to the home’s cleaning schedules
Provide deep cleaning and preparation of bedrooms as required
Manage cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate person when new supplies are required.
Ensure the appropriate agent is used for each area to be cleaned
Adhere to health and safety, and infection control policies and ensure cleaning is in line with recommendations. Adhere to the Care Centre’s disposal of waste and COSHH policies.
