• Has strong experience in financial management, including reporting, and financial controls
• Has experience of payroll reconciliation and an understanding of staffing cost management
• Has knowledge of HR processes and/or recruitment, including safer recruitment practices (desirable)
• Has experience working in a school or public sector environment (desirable)
• Is highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Has excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Is a confident communicator, able to work effectively with senior leaders, staff, and external partners
• Has strong analytical skills and is confident using financial systems
• Is proactive, solution-focused, and able to identify and resolve issues effectively
• Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a team environment
• Is committed to supporting the best outcomes for children through strong financial and resource management
