About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation based in Swinton for a Data Processor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment and has strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the accurate processing and preparation of data, supporting internal teams and client reporting requirements. This position would suit someone with good Excel skills, a methodical approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Data Processing & Management
Process incoming datasets using established Excel templates and macros
Prepare, clean and format data for reporting and dashboards
Run predefined macros and follow documented workflows
Upload, organise and maintain datasets within internal systems
Quality Assurance
Check data outputs for accuracy and completeness
Identify anomalies or inconsistencies and escalate where required
Maintain high standards of data integrity and consistency
Reporting Support
Produce scheduled reports and data outputs
Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines
Support analysts by preparing datasets for further analysis
Process Compliance
Follow documented procedures for all data processing activities
Maintain clear records of work completed
Contribute to process improvements by highlighting inefficiencies
Skills & Experience
Intermediate Excel skills including:
Formulas
Data sorting and filtering
Basic data validation
Ability to run macros created by others
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and time-management skills
Logical and methodical approach to tasks
Ability to follow structured processes
Comfortable working with time-sensitive deadlines
Personal Attributes
Highly organised and dependable
Methodical and process-driven
Comfortable working with repetitive but detail-focused tasks
Strong sense of accountability for accuracy
Able to prioritise workload effectively
