Summary

About you:


We are looking for an enthusiastic & driven Duty Manager to join the team here at Exeter Leisure on a full-time basis.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years previous supervisory experience, and have a good understanding of Health and Safety, preferably within in a leisure environment.

The significant focus for the successful candidate will be the ability to motivate the team to deliver consistently high standards of service to enhance the customer experience.

You should be quality driven, have sound operational, communication and people skills, and be flexible and able to deliver results.



About the role:


To be responsible for the day to day duty management and running of the leisure centre to the highest standard. This will include the active management, development and motivation of a team of operational staff; providing the highest standards of customer care and ensuring the centre operates safely and within all legislative requirements.

The role will be heavily focused on the operational side of management including the pool plant. To have a good knowledge of pool plant operations and experience in the operational management of a wet facility.


This role is offered on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis, with the duration subject to change depending on when the current post holder returns from maternity leave.
